[udig-devel] ApplicationGIS and PlatformGIS

I went looking for these facade classes under the wrong name today 
(searching for GISPlatform and GISApplication since that is what I think 
of ...). Sign ...

Jesse I had a look at Pair and Option today; Pair is certainly earning 
its keep but I cannot see the benifit of Option right now...
I would like to try and set up PlatformGIS with a Callable in order to 
cut down on some of the strange code we currently use to return a value 
out of the display thread.
