Hi Andrea,

I think I have a udig trunk tagged and ready for your amusement...
- GeoAPI tagged and deployed into maven as geoapi-2.2-M0
- GeoTools tagged and deployed into maven as gt-api-2.5-M2 etc... I 
think I may upload this to source forge as well?
- uDig 1.2-M0 tagged; please check out and build this release

What I would like out of this process is a "hit list" of things that 
need fixing on trunk that are important to you. The GeoTools 2.5.x 
series on which this work is based is going to be wrapped up in the next 
couple of months; GeoServer is "happy" with the result for the moment 
and will be using it as the basis for their 1.7 release; as part of that 
count down they will be looking at several performance regressions.

One thing that was not mentioned in our earlier discussion; was the 
short term need for a RasterSymbolizer editor. I really want to exercise 
Simone's recent work :-)
