Certainly - with a raster I think that's all that can be done.

I'm glad to hear from Adrian's comments that some thinking is being 
done on further generalisation of these issues down the line.  I 
agree that in an ideal world one might want to print more than one 
would display.

I'm going to try today to use the SVGGraphics2D implementation from 
BIRT to see if I can get svg output into an html report from 
udig.  I'll report back on any success/failure.
