[udig-devel] Eclipse 3.3.2 linux/babel help

I am going to have a go at the new eclipse-rcp-europa-winter release (I 
think that is eclipse 3.3.2); with your permission Andrea I would like 
to try out the babel projects translations (rather than the nice jar you 
hacked up for us); my understanding is I will need to fetch the 
translations using the update site ... rather than a distinct download.

I am going to run through the ADMIN instructions today; and produce an 
eclipse-extras for everyone to try out. If I can here back from the 
linux and macosx platforms that all is good we can go forward with the 
upgrade.

One avenue to be careful of is the nightly builds; chances are good that 
I will need to upgrade the version of eclipse used by that machine - so 
it is *very* important to me to hear back from a linux user about this one.

PS. I accidentally got uDig running on an old eclipse 3.3.1 release 
yesterday; nice to know that still works - boy the compile cycle bug was 
annoying.
