I always believed the english page names are required in order to recognize pages with same content in different spaces and allow to switch between them? Am I wrong?
If I am right alternative B is the only useful?

So what's the difference here? Do we need help pages in another format than HTML?

In this case I like the Alternative B better. Translating the context associations seems more work to be done. But since I havn't tried yet I might as well be wrong.

I havn't update the German help pages lately, I've concentrated on the GUI translations, so my slight vote for alternative B is not too important.
