Priority: Trivial
Attachments: Picture 6.jpg
*1. Preparations:*
A. Grab a copy of the .dmg installer
*2. Actions:*
A. Double click the uDig.dmg installer
*3. Problems:*
A. background.jpg(1) not showing up in the background.
B. dmgIcon.icns(2) icon not showing up on uDig folder.
C. VolumeIcon.icns(3) not showing up on mounted uDig volume.
*4. Observations:*
A. dmgIcon.icns, VolumeIcon.icns, and background.jpg are in the folder, just not doing what they are supposed be doing.
*5. Conclusions:*
A. Simple installer fix... but one that is often overlooked in favor of more important tasks, or a result of time constraints. None the less, it's a software product, and from the launcher to the actual app, the uDig branding should always be present, and consistent, especailly to *new* users(first impressions). This includes making sure to use uDig for everything, and not uDIG. I noticed here in codehaus, uDig is listed as uDIG... trivial, but branding none-the-less.
