This is just what is displayed in the Catalog the relative path is  
what is actually stored on disk.

I think this must be because you are using an old workspace try  
updating the default Map CRS Preference to be -1.  The preference is  
under WIndow>Preferences;  Project>Map

Yes.  :)  Its not the best but changing that behaviour is a very big  
task and won't be addressed for a little while.  I am aware of this  
but thanks for bringing it back up.

I have not been able to figure out what the story is with that.  It is  
some odd SWT bug that I can't figure out.
