I Mauricio; let me grab this old thread with an "update", rather than 
move the modified buffer code to udig, geotools or anywhere else I am 
going to prep a patch for
Martin and have this functionality made available for JTS 1.9.1.

Just thought I should let you know where this is going; when JTS 1.9.1 
is released you should no longer need your fork of BufferBuilder.
