Jesse,
After installing on XP, I had to manually change the start menu entry
from
Start In: "C:\Program Files\uDig\1.1-RC13\"
to
Start In: "C:\Program Files\uDig\1.1-RC13\eclipse"
the Target entry is correct.
I did this because the start menu entry would not do anything reasonable
but navigating to the UDIG directory and running udig.exe from there
worked fine.
In some previous releases the "eclipse" directory was not around.
