[udig-devel] Tracking system

Hi,

There have been a few projects like this.  I'm guessing the custom  
layer is not a Geotools datastore of any sort but of your own model.

If that is true then MapGraphic is you friend.  Take a look at the  
Mapgraphic tutorial.  It ships with the RC14 SDK.  You can download a  
good version from
