When you select a feature on a map using the info tool, the information view comes to the front, but some "notifications" are being missed. You can see this by doing the following...

1. Select the info tool
2. Click on any feature on the map (the attributes will show in the info view)
3. Click on the tab of the Info view (i.e. activate the view)

The feature will flash only when you activate the Info view, and not before. I know this is a really minor problem in itself, but I discovered this because I have created a plugin which shows/hides an extra view menu item on the Info view based on the feature content. The status of the menu item doesn't change until the Info view is selected - so the user interface is misleading. If the menu item shouldn't be showing but is still visible (from a previous selection) it just disappears when you try to click it. If it's not visible, you have to click somewhere (anywhere) on the info view before it appears.
