[udig-devel] Which Licence

LGPL on both counts (we want you to be able to make a living :-) )

UDIG is LGPL; we do depend on eclipse components so an organization 
needs to be happy with the various eclipse foundation licenses as well.

I did not think of putting the information on either of those pages: The 
GeoTools wiki lists the license in the user guide, and developers guide 
and in the first sentence on the home page.

On a related note both projects are using LGPL 2.1; at some point we 
should think about either LGPL 3.x or GPL+Classpath exception (both of 
which meet my requirement for allowing organizations to reuse the 
codebase as needed).
