Restarted and I still get the hang; but results do actually come back, I 
am going to replace this section of the walkthrough with clicking on 
things in the "Web Catalog". Noted that some of the WMS layers do not 
"come back" after a restart - hitting refresh kicks them hard enough 
that the screen looks okay again.
