[udig-devel] Problem Launching UDig on Windows XP

I'm actually writing a question as a user. :]

I'm having a problem launching the latest (stable?) version of UDig.
(UDig 1.1 RC11)
The install of UDig went fine, but when I try to run the program from
the Start menu I'll I get is the splash screen. After the splash
screen disappears the program terminates.

Is anyone else having this problem on Windows XP?

Does anyone have any suggestions on something I can try to get UDig running?
