We have applied a patch when zooming to a point feature; this same patch needs to be applied when zooming to a point layer from a WMS.

# Load up the usual training dataset from geoserver (taz cities, lakes, roads etc...)
# Select the roads layer and zoom to layer - it works :-)
# Select the cities layer and zoom to layer - it fails :-(
