[udig-devel] Some questions

Hi!
Does uDig RC10 needs .shx file to poperly show shapefile? Is it mandatory?

I found this problem when working with FidFilters on RC10: when we
have .shp, .dbf and .shx file - FidFilter works whell and when
highlighting features by SelectCommand - all works good, but if .shx
file is absent - wrong features are highlighted.
It's very strange, but in RC9 it FidFilter worked for shapefiles
without .shx file.

What can you say? And in which another situations .shx file is
mandatory? Thanks a lot
