Anything beyond bug fixes should be done on trunk :)  We really can't 
afford to do anything risky on the 1.1 branch which could slow down the 
release process at all.

We'll have to wait for Jesse to get back from holidays to get an in 
depth response to your e-mail (2-3 weeks?), unless Jody or Richard want 
to chime in.
