[udig-devel] Proxy authentication

Hello all,

I am in the unfortunate situation having to use a proxy for my network
connections with authentication at my workplace. Now I need to teach all
of my software how to make use of that proxy. I found some information on
proxy server with uDig, but no information on the syntax for providing
user-name and password.

Here is what I found:

udig -vmargs -Dhttp.proxyHost=myproxyserver -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080

How is the syntax for adding the username and password, or is this not
possible?
