[udig-devel] Create feature in postgis

Hello. I'd like to ask, as always, a newbie question. When I create a 
layer i can edit it and "export" it to a shape file. Then with shp2sql i 
can easily import it in PostGis.

I'm asking if this is the unique way to do this is to do it with this 
procedure, or there is a fastest way, for example create a layer 
directly in Postgis or similar.

Btw, i am using the test release RC 13 under Leopard, and as far I'm 
gonna test the application and eventually let you know of strages 
behaviours or potential bugs. Actually, it seems that release 13 work 
flawlessy.
