[udig-devel] Memory Management in uDig?

Correction on this point.  There is a progress indicator on the bottom  
of the uDig window with a stop button.  You can stop loading features  
at any time and closing the view will free up the memory used by the  
features loaded before canceling.

Another note.  cancelling stops the features from loading but the ones  
that have been loaded stick around.
