[udig-devel] configuring eclipse

Hello

Sorry, i am new in this thing about free-software projects

 

I usually work in a window ide development environment, such excel's
vba, so installing and configuring software as eclipe is a tricky thing
to me, but I want to learn more about this topic.

 

Actually I am trying to use the UDig software in order to develop
different kind of plugins.

I noticed that it is important to use an eclipse environment in order to
write these plugins components, so I download the callisto version of
eclipse. 

 

Also I read the help documentation to develop the DistanceTool example,
but when I try the forth step (add the plugins) I noticed that the links
to net.refractions.uidg was not available. I deinstalled the uidg
software an then reinstalled it but nothing happens. Also I look at the
documentation in uidg and eclipse webpages but I cant's find anything
that could help me

 

How could I do to configurate and make the example DistanceTool of UDig
software?
