"Hide normal rendered feature" preference deactivation is not reflected on map

Activate "Hide normal rendered feature", edit a geometry, the actual feature is hidden and the one in edition shown. Good.
Now deactivate the "Hide normal rendered feature" preference, the feature dissapears and the actual one is not shown again.

The same effect is appreciated if, while the preference is actiated, select another tool (i.e. zoom). The edit tool is deactivated and the feature being edited dissapears.
