on opening a shapefile, I get an error to the console:
WARNING: projection (.prj) for shapefile not available
May 21, 2006 12:31:59 PM org.geotools.data.shapefile.ShapefileDataStore openPrjReader
 
or the other order for the two lines.

The message is unhelpful because it does not indicate *which* shapefile is affected. The error is wrong since all the relevant shapefile have .prj files but I can't get much further without knowing which file is affected or running the whole thing in Eclipse.

Please add a string "name" as in: '...for shapefile "name" not ... '    where "name" would have the root name of the shapefile in question.
