[udig-devel] Any plans for metadata, feature and data catalogues?

Indeed - you will find the uDig Platform is designed with exactly this 
in mind.

Of course hooking the result up to an OGC Catalog is what I want to be 
working on :-) We did try for uDig 1.0 but the OGC Catalog 
specifications were not ready in time.
