[udig-devel] Feedback from uDig course

A couple of follow up points:
- switching to a nightly build solved a lot of problems experienced in 
uDig1.1RC1
- uDig SDK (August 18th) does not support drag and drop when running as 
a target platform from eclipse (assume something was left out?)
- uDig SDK (August 18th) does not allow plugin test cases to be run from 
withing Eclipse 3.2 (this was the only problem in using Eclipse 3.2 to 
work with the SDK releases)
- walkthrough 1 and walkthrough 2 updated to reflect the latest and 
greatest (Jesse if you could review and publish them to the wiki for the 
community)
- feature view tutorial (see svn) does not work against the 
countries.shp made available as part of the walkthrough 1 sample data
- I trust the next RC will address the glitches we encountered with 
editing (the visual feedback is a great improvement over a couple of 
months ago)

The course was a great success, those attending were impressed with the 
opportunities available with the eclipse platform, and how we had 
capitalized on some of those in the catalog and rendering systems.
